FMP Location Research

Most of my filming is going to set in the heart of London with many parts to be done. With so many places to film across London with a short of limited time, I created a plan to make it easier for myself. I know that there’s going to be 68 shots in the short film so I listed places with photographs. I haven’t decided how many shots there’s going to but I listed few ideas that came in my mind.

Since I don’t have camera and some of the shots are hard to pinpoint the perfect angle so I decided to use images from Google Images and copy the link then added to my Bibliography page. For each photo I explained the reason why this will make a good scene.

  • Business District

The_City_London

The reason why I chose this scene because to show the audience the corporate side of London. How I see this picture represents power will the expensive skyline skyscrapers there is in a small city and how well economic developed London is over the last 100 years.

  • Tower Bridge

There was no hard choice when I chose this. The Tower Bridge is monument across world because it’s famous for the landmark. The idea is suitable because to capture London’s cultural environments that is well-know for the audience to recognise.

  • The Shard

There’s nothing wrong making one scene seeing the tallest building west Europe. This is an opportunity I shouldn’t waste.

  • River Thames

P128-0629-V1

I chose the River Thames in general because there’s different locations and camera angles to view the River Thames. The image above gave me an idea how and where the camera angle is going to be.
